God's Covenant Grace / July 13

God's covenant with Noah after the flood reveals His incredible mercy even amid righteous judgment. When Genesis says 'God remembered Noah,' it signals divine action on Noah's behalf, not that God had forgotten him. After patiently waiting in the ark for a year, Noah's first act was worship, building an altar to God. Despite knowing humanity's continued sinfulness, God established a covenant promising never to destroy the earth by flood again, using the rainbow as its sign. This covenant reminds us that God's blessings always flow from His grace, not our merit, and challenges us to receive and extend this grace to others.
